Cirrus Syrah Stellenbosch

Crafted in the famed Stellenbosch region of South Africa, Cirrus Syrah is a benchmark red wine born from a joint venture between Jean Engelbrecht (Rust en Vrede) and Ray Duncan (Silver Oak Cellars). Sourced from high-elevation vineyards on the slopes of the Helderberg Mountain, the vines thrive in ancient decomposed granite and clay soils. Meticulously hand-harvested and vinified with minimal intervention, the wine matures for 18 to 22 months in fine French oak barrels. Cirrus delivers a Northern Rhône-style Syrah characterized by deep dark berry fruit, savory cracked black pepper, and granite minerality.
