The 2019 Les Forts de Latour is a powerhouse and a "jewel of a wine" that marks a significant milestone as the estate's first release fully certified organic and biodynamic. Produced with the same meticulous care as the Grand Vin, it originates from dedicated parcels outside the famed "Enclos". This vintage offers a complex bouquet of blackberries, cassis, and iris, interwoven with sophisticated notes of cedar, cigar box, and graphite. On the palate, it is full-bodied and velvety, featuring powerful yet ultrafine linear tannins and a mineral core of crushed stone. Aged in approximately 70% new French oak, it displays an extraordinary balance of tension and sapid freshness with a resonant, long-lasting finish.
