Originating from the prized "Limit Lodge" parcel within Adrian Hoffmann's dry-grown vineyards in the higher reaches of the Barossa, the vines thrive in ancient, well-draining soils composed of decomposed granite and clay. These low-yielding old vines produce small, concentrated berries with thick skins, benefiting from intense daytime sun balanced by cool high-altitude evening breezes. Fermented using wild yeasts in small open vats with extended skin maceration, the wine matures for 24 to 30 months in fine French oak hogsheads. The result is an unashamedly rich, full-bodied, and deeply structured Barossa benchmark delivering remarkable concentration, silky textures, and decades of cellaring potential.
