About the Badia a Coltibuono Chianti Classico 2022
This quintessential Tuscan red wine opens with a highly expressive and traditional bouquet of sour red cherries, wild strawberries, and crushed violets, beautifully underscored by savory nuances of dried oregano, leather, tobacco leaf, and a touch of terracotta dust. On the medium-bodied palate, it showcases wonderful structural poise and rustic charm, framing its vibrant core of tart red fruits with a lively line of typical acidity and firm, fine-grained noble tannins. The finish is remarkably clean, dry, and classically savory.
