About the Checkmate Queen Taken Chardonnay 2021
A distinctive and textural Chardonnay with aromas of rosewater, ginger and Asian pear. The palate develops flavours of grilled pineapple, ripe apricot and stone fruit alongside savoury herbal and mineral notes. Firm structure and freshness lead into a long, complex and savoury finish.
Food Pairing: Pair with lobster, scallops, roast chicken, grilled halibut, pork tenderloin, mushroom risotto, or aged cheeses.
