Chateau Valade 2019

Château Valade is a traditional Bordeaux red offering aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, ripe plum, cedar, and subtle spice. The palate is smooth and well-balanced with supple tannins, fresh acidity, and a lingering finish that highlights dark fruit and gentle earthy complexity.

Food Pairing: Pair with grilled steak, roast lamb, duck confit, beef stew, mushroom dishes, aged cheeses, or charcuterie.

Blackberries and blackcurrants on the nose with some grilled spices, wet earth and black pepper. This is a medium- to full-bodied red, showing tight, chewy tannins and a lucid mid-palate. Better in 2023.
