Richly structured yet beautifully refined, it delivers polished tannins, vibrant freshness, remarkable balance, and a long, elegant finish with excellent aging potential.
Food Pairing: Pair with grilled ribeye, beef Wellington, roast lamb, duck breast, venison, mushroom risotto, aged Comté, braised short ribs, or roasted root vegetables.
91 Points - James Suckling
Notes of ripe berries, toasted cloves, cardamom, cocoa and grilled herbs. Some tree bark, too. Medium-bodied with supple and sleek texture, firm tannin structure and a succulent fruit character. Flavorful, polished finish. 60% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot. Drink or hold.
91 Points - Wine Spectator
Solid, with a winey core of gently steeped red and black currant fruit backed by hints of warm pebbles, lilac and iron. Slightly taut in feel, with nice focus. Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Best from 2024 through 2032. 45,000 cases made, 9,000 cases imported.
