About the Chateau Siaurac Lalande de Pomerol 2010
Château Siaurac is one of the leading estates of Lalande-de-Pomerol, producing an elegant Bordeaux with aromas of black cherry, plum, violet, cedar, and cocoa. Silky tannins, fresh acidity, and refined structure lead to a long, balanced finish with excellent aging potential.
Food Pairing: Pair with roast lamb, beef tenderloin, duck breast, mushroom risotto, braised short ribs, truffle dishes, or aged cheeses.
91 Points - James Suckling
Dark polished fruit with coffee and sweet licorice. Nice sweetness on the palate with full body and an enjoyable licorice note that carries on all the way through the long finish. Soft tannins and good volume. Drinks well already now.
89 Points - Wine Enthusiast
This hugely ripe Merlot has created a monster of a wine, heavily laden with bitter coffee extraction as well as very ripe black plum fruits. Big and concentrated, this is a wine to be enjoyed for its profusion and excess.
