About the Chateau Roquefort Cuvee Jean Bellanger
Château Roquefort Cuvée Jean Bellanger is a premium Bordeaux crafted from the estate's finest parcels. It reveals aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, ripe plum, violet, cedar, graphite, and baking spice. Richly textured yet beautifully balanced, it delivers silky tannins, vibrant freshness, elegant structure, and a long, polished finish with excellent aging potential.
Food Pairing: Pair with grilled ribeye, roast lamb, beef Wellington, duck breast, mushroom risotto, aged Comté, braised short ribs, or roasted root vegetables.
91 Points - James Suckling
This offers toasty nuances and deep, dark-fruited character with ripe blackberries, plum skin, cedar and spice box. Medium- to full-bodied, firm and a little tight on the palate, with dry, chewy tannins. Quite extracted and austere, but focused and structured. Try after 2025.
91 Points - Wine Enthusiast
This wine, with equal amounts of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, has a spicy aroma and ripe, dark tannins. Black fruits snd structure give a fine balance to this special cuvée. Drink the wine from 2025.
