About the Chateau Pesquie Juliette 2023
Château Pesquié Cuvée Juliette is the estate's flagship red from old-vine Syrah grown on the slopes of Mont Ventoux. It reveals aromas of blackberry, black cherry, violet, cracked pepper, licorice, and smoky herbs. Richly concentrated yet beautifully balanced, it delivers velvety tannins, vibrant freshness, and an exceptionally long finish.
Food Pairing: Pair with grilled lamb, ribeye steak, duck confit, venison, beef daube, rosemary potatoes, aged Comté, or wild mushroom dishes.
91 Points - James Suckling
Lemons, sliced pears and white flowers on the nose, with a touch of pea shoots. It’s medium-bodied, bright and lively, with refreshing herbal and floral undertones. Clairette and grenache blanc. From biodynamically grown grapes with Demeter certification. Vegan. Drink now.
91 Points - Wine Spectator
A silky stream of honeysuckle, apple and green plum shows hints of beeswax and chamomile. Round and caressing on the palate yet stays very fresh, with bitter herbs, fennel frond and a kick of quinine on the finish for pleasing contrast. Clairette and Grenache Blanc. Drink now. 217 cases made, 25 cases imported.
