The Château Palais Cardinal 2019 is an elegant, structured, and deeply sophisticated Old World red wine from a highly celebrated, sun-kissed Right Bank vintage. It pours a beautiful, deep garnet-red colour in the glass, lifting with an immediate, refreshing bouquet of ripe blackcurrants, dark plums, and wild cherries, layered with complex undertones of graphite, sweet tobacco, bay leaves, and subtle clove spice. On the palate, this medium-to-full-bodied Bordeaux blend is remarkably smooth, well-balanced, and textured, coating the mouth with pure, velvety intensities of dense dark fruits and an earthy finish. Matured meticulously for 18 months in French oak barrels (90% new) to maximize its structural depth and aging potential, its structural crunch is sustained by fresh acidity and finely knit, supple tannins that carry into a long, elegant finish.
