Dried herb, bramble and earth are juxtaposed by concentrated dried plum and strawberry in this rich, supple red. It's a powerful, fiery wine spiced with anise, pepper and burnt-caramel tones. Densely packed tannins and sunny acidity lend structure and balance. Enjoyable already it should improve through 2026 and hold much further.

This has density and drive, but comes off as alluring overall, with a long beam of fig, boysenberry and blackberry paste flavors cruising through, lined with warm anise, singed apple wood and sweet tobacco accents.
