Richly textured yet beautifully balanced, it offers polished tannins, vibrant freshness, refined minerality, and a long, harmonious finish with excellent ageing potential.

A brilliant wine that greatly exceeds expectations for its price and outperforms many of its more famous Saint-Émilion neighbors.

Produced from vineyards on the eastern side of Saint-Émilion, the 2020 Château Mangot is a blend of 75% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc and the remainder Cabernet Sauvignon. It delivers a classy, medium- to full-bodied style with an elegant, textured palate and complex aromas of bouquet garni, scorched earth, violets and leafy herbs. Layers of cassis and black cherries are framed by ripe, polished tannins and impressive length.
