Expert tasting note: "Medium to deep, dark ruby-red color. The restrained fruit aromas are of cassis, black-plum & blackberry. The palate shows rich, juicy cassis & blackcurrant fruit that is lifted by fresh acidity. The fine tannins give a chalky nature to the mid-palate, but open to become smoother. Alcohol is balanced & the wine is of mid-weight. The concentrated, ripe fruit-tannins open give a mouth-watering jammy cassis fruit finish with some grip." - 04/24 (ep) DCAMW
