About the Chateau Larrivet Haut-Brion Blanc 2020
This elegant white Bordeaux offers expressive aromas of citrus, white peach, pear, fresh herbs, and subtle toasted oak. The palate is vibrant and layered with crisp acidity, mineral freshness, and a long refined finish, making it both approachable young and suitable for aging.
Food Pairing: Enjoy with grilled lobster, scallops, roasted chicken, creamy seafood pasta, goat cheese, or baked halibut with fresh herbs and lemon butter.
93 Points - James Suckling
Flint, grilled pineapple, lemongrass, grapefruit and cloves on the nose. It’s medium-bodied, with plenty of tension and minerality. Spicy, too. Excellent length and complexity. Drink or hold.
93 Points - Wine Spectator
This has a bitter citrus oil edge that lends some viscosity to the otherwise bright and racy yuzu, star fruit and gooseberry notes, while quinine and verbena fill in on the finish for added range and length. Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon. Drink now through 2027. 1,000 cases made, 150 cases imported.
