About the Chateau L'Argenteyre 2016
Château L'Argenteyre 2016 is a structured Cru Bourgeois Médoc with aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, cedar, graphite, tobacco, and subtle spice. Dense tannins, vibrant acidity, and ripe fruit deliver a powerful yet balanced palate with impressive depth, elegance, and excellent aging potential.
Food Pairing: Pair with grilled ribeye, beef cheek stew, roast lamb, aged hard cheeses, mushroom dishes, or dark chocolate desserts.
88 Points - Wine Enthusiast
A rich and juicy wine with a fine future, this is full of berry fruits and still-young, firm tannins. Wood aging does show at the moment but the rich fruit will allow everything to come together. Drink the wine from 2023. Roger Voss.
88 Points - James Suckling
A linear and fresh Médoc with currants, lemons and hints of cherries. Medium-bodied. Clean finish. Drink or hold.
