Expert tasting note: "Deep, dark, but not opaque ruby red. The aromas are juicy & lifted with delicate red-fruit/dark plum & leafy notes developing into black-cherry character. The wine is mid-weight with good freshness & initially quite gripping tannins. Juicy, dark-cherry, dark-plum & dark licorice fruit core smothers the tannins. Fresh acidity brings out notes of leafy cassis. Alcohol is balanced, the wine has fair length & chocolatey notes on the finish." - 01/23 DCAMW
