Chateau La Lagune 2016

Château La Lagune 2016 is an exceptionally structured, refined, and aromatic Third Growth Bordeaux red wine produced under organic viticulture in the southern Haut-Médoc. Displaying a deep, dark ruby-purple core, it opens with a complex and expressive bouquet of black currant, dark cherries, and wild cassis, beautifully layered with fragrant violets, cedar wood, graphite, tobacco, and subtle forest floor nuances. On the palate, it exhibits a medium-to-full body characterized by a silky, mouth-filling texture, fine-grained, firm tannins, and a fresh beam of natural acidity that drives a persistent, elegant, and mineral-tinged finish.

Food Pairing: Pairs wonderfully with roasted leg of lamb, prime ribeye steak, braised beef short ribs, roasted duck breast, and aged Comté cheese.
