Château La Dominique Grand Cru Classé 2018 is a rich, opulent, and finely structured Grand Cru Classé red wine from Saint-Émilion on Bordeaux's Right Bank. Sourced from vineyards situated on gravel and clay soils adjacent to Cheval Blanc and Figeac, this vintage features an appealing deep garnet-purple color. It opens with luxurious aromatics of crushed blackberries, warm black cherries, espresso, forest floor, and toasted oak spice. On the palate, it is full-bodied, dense, and polished, displaying layered black fruits, firm yet refined tannins, balanced freshness, and a long, lingering mineral finish.
Food Pairing: Pairs superbly with roasted rack of lamb, braised beef short ribs, grilled duck breast, venison loin, and rich aged cheeses like Comté.

Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2018 La Dominique is a little broody, offering up damp soil, pencil lead, wild fungi and charcoal scents over a core of plum preserves and stewed blackberries. The medium to full-bodied palate delivers muscular black and blue fruit preserves, supported by ripe, rounded tannins and just enough freshness, finishing earthy. It opened considerably after a few hours, contributing exotic spice and floral undertones. Give it 4-5 years in cellar and drink it over the following 15 years+.
