Château Kirwan 2022

Château Kirwan 2022 is a structured, rich, and concentrated Third Growth red wine from the Margaux appellation of Bordeaux. In the glass, it presents a deep, almost black garnet-purple hue. The expressive bouquet opens with intense aromas of ripe blackberry, mulberry reduction, and cassis, seamlessly layered with subtle floral notes of violet and iris, baking spices, dark chocolate, and an earthy, inky minerality. On the palate, it is medium- to full-bodied, rich, and fleshy, featuring a dense core of dark berry fruit framed by firm, silky tannins and a energetic, saline-edged acidity that provides remarkable balance through a long, linear, and focused finish.

Food Pairing: Pairs wonderfully with roasted rack of lamb, prime ribeye steak, duck breast with berry reduction, and aged hard cheeses.
