Chateau Haut-Batailley Verso

Verso is the second wine of Château Haut-Batailley, introduced by the Cazes family (owners of Château Lynch-Bages) following their acquisition of the estate in 2017. Replacing the former second wine, La Tour l'Aspic, Verso is crafted from younger vines and plots that do not enter the Grand Vin. It is designed to be more approachable in its youth while maintaining the estate’s signature Pauillac elegance. The wine is typically aged for 12 months in one-year-old French oak barrels, resulting in a profile that emphasizes fresh black fruit, silky tannins, and a subtle mineral finish.
