Third Growth. Troisieme Grand Cru Classe in 1855.
Expert tasting note: (2016 vintage) "Darkly pigmented, medium riby-red in color. The aromas are fresh & lifted with a violetey, red-fruit perfume. The whole wine is beautifully balanced, it is mid-weight with fine, silky tannins, lovely redcurrant & cranberry fruit. Alcohol is balanced. The acidity is fresh & there are crunchy and leafy aspects on the finish, which lasts well. Elegant & poised, it will age beautifully." - 03/23 DCAMW
