The 2018 vintage is a rich and opulent expression, characterized by deep garnet colour and a complex bouquet of candied red fruits, white mushrooms, leather, and peppery spice. On the palate, it is medium-to-full-bodied with a concentrated profile of cranberries, raisins, and dates, balanced by fresh acidity and finely integrated tannins. True to the Chateau Musar style, it was fermented in concrete vats, aged for 12 months in French Nevers oak, and matured in bottle for several years before release.
