About the Château de Laubade Bas-Armagnac 21 Years Old
Château de Laubade Bas-Armagnac 21 Years Old is a premium age-statement Armagnac made from a blend of Baco, Folle Blanche, and Colombard eaux-de-vie exclusively from the estate. Aged between 21 and 25 years in Gascony oak, it offers candied fruit, vanilla, butterscotch, ripe plum, and elegant spice.
Food Pairing: Walnut tart with salted butter caramel, chocolate and vanilla desserts, coffee amaretti, aged cheeses, and dried fruit.
Tasting Notes: Deep amber with candied fruit, vanilla, butterscotch, ripe plum, spice, and elegant toasted oak, followed by a long, complex finish.
Nose: Candied fruit, vanilla, butterscotch, ripe plum, gentle spice, and elegant toasted aromas.
Palate: Ripe fruit and spices develop across a rich, velvety texture with layers of mature oak and dried fruit.
Finish: Very long and complex, with lingering ripe fruit, spice, vanilla, and toasted oak.
