About the Château de Laubade Bas-Armagnac Cask Strength 2000
Château de Laubade Bas-Armagnac Cask Strength 2000 is a vintage cask-strength Bas-Armagnac produced from estate-grown Baco and Ugni Blanc grapes from the 2000 vintage. Food Pairing: Foie gras, aged cheeses, roasted nuts, dried fruit desserts, dark chocolate, and rich pastries.
Tasting Notes: Powerful and mature, combining vanilla bean, yellow plum, baking spices, coffee, caramel, dried fruit, and polished oak.
Nose: Vanilla bean, yellow plum, citrus, prune, and warming baking spices.
Palate: Full and powerful with orange zest, candied fruit, plum, baking spice, coffee, caramel, and mature oak.
Finish: Long and warming, with dried fruit, spice, caramel, and lingering oak.
