About the Chateau De La Huste 2019
A refined Fronsac from the outstanding 2019 vintage, offering aromas of blackberry, black cherry, plum, violet, cedar, graphite, and baking spice. Smooth tannins and vibrant freshness complement its rich fruit and mineral-driven structure, creating an elegant and age-worthy Right Bank Bordeaux.
Food Pairing: Pair with roast lamb, beef tenderloin, duck breast, braised short ribs, mushroom risotto, truffle dishes, or aged Comté cheese.
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
92 Points - James Suckling
This is a solid Fronsac with crushed-blackberry, stone and dark-chocolate aromas and flavors. It’s medium-bodied with a chewy tannin backbone and stony, earthy highlights at the finish. Needs time to soften. Try after 2023.
91 Points - Wine Spectator
Sleek and fresh, with very pure damson plum and cassis notes lined with subtle savory and chalky mineral hints. Understated and sneaky long. Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Drink now through 2032.
