Famille Rivière Clos des Menuts 2020 is an elegant, structured Right Bank red wine from the historic medieval underground cellars of Saint-Émilion Grand Cru. Sourced from vines averaging 30 years old grown in clay-limestone and sandy soils, it is aged in French oak barrels (45% new) for 18 months. In the glass, it exhibits a deep garnet-ruby hue with complex aromas of ripe black cherries, dark plum, cassis, dried herbs, and toasted vanilla oak. On the palate, it is full-bodied, rich, and well-balanced, delivering supple tannins, balanced acidity, and lingering notes of dark berries, licorice, and cocoa leading to a smooth, persistent finish.
