About the Chateau Clement Saint Jean 2016
A refined Saint-Émilion Grand Cru with aromas of blackberry, black cherry, plum, violet, cedar, and baking spice. Silky tannins, vibrant freshness, and polished structure create an elegant Right Bank Bordeaux with excellent depth and a lingering finish.
Food Pairing: Pair with roast lamb, beef tenderloin, duck breast, mushroom risotto, aged Comté, Gouda, or herb-roasted vegetables.
87 Points - Wine Enthusiast
This cooperative wine was first produced in 1996, the result of bringing together a number of parcels. The wine's structure and freshness happily pair with firm tannins and black-currant fruits. That gives a wine with potential, ready to drink from 2022. Roger Voss
