About the Chateau Chizay Mala Gora 7 Year Old Brandy 500ml
Chateau Chizay Mala Gora 7 Year Old Brandy is a vintage Ukrainian grape brandy produced by Chateau Chizay in Zakarpattia. The brandy is matured for at least seven years in oak barrels, followed by additional maturation in barriques previously used for Chateau Chizay wines. The oldest brandy spirit incorporated into the blend is 17 years old. Bottled at 40% ABV, Mala Gora offers a smooth, velvety character built around nuts, chocolate, dried fruit, vanilla, and mature oak.
Food Pairing: Dark chocolate, chocolate desserts, roasted nuts, dried fruit, mature cheeses, and nut-based pastries. The producer specifically recommends pairing it with chocolate or enjoying it on its own as a digestif.
Tasting Notes: Noble amber in color with a soft, velvety and moderately full character, combining dried fruit, chocolate, vanilla, nuts, and mature oak.
Nose: Complex and refined aromas of nuts, chocolate, dried apricot, and elegant vanilla.
Palate: Soft and oily with moderate richness, showing chocolate and vanilla alongside notes of dried white grapes.
Finish: Long and smooth with a lingering note of toasted nuts.
