Famille Rivière Château Cheval Brun 2020 is an expressive, harmonious Right Bank red wine from the Saint-Émilion Grand Cru appellation. Produced from vines averaging 35 years of age grown in soils of clay, sand, and iron-rich subsoils, it undergoes temperature-controlled fermentation followed by 12 to 14 months of aging in French oak barrels. In the glass, it presents a deep ruby hue with rich aromas of black cherries, ripe plum, cassis, and subtle accents of cedar, tobacco, and cocoa. On the palate, it is medium-to-full-bodied and smoothly textured, offering supple tannins, vibrant acidity, and generous layers of dark fruit and delicate oak spice that resolve into a refined, persistent finish.
