About the Chateau Cap d'Or 2018
A refined Saint-Émilion Grand Cru with aromas of blackberry, black cherry, plum, violet, cedar, and subtle spice. Velvety tannins, vibrant freshness, and polished structure create an elegant Bordeaux with impressive depth and a smooth, lingering finish.
Food Pairing: Pair with roast lamb, beef tenderloin, duck breast, mushroom risotto, aged Comté, Gouda, or herb-roasted vegetables.
90 Points - Wine Enthusiast
From a village north of Saint-Émilion, this chocolate- and black-fruit flavored wine is young, dense and firm with tannins. A succulent edge promises well for the future of this powerful blend with its 86% Merlot. Drink from 2023. Roger Voss
