96 Points - Jeb Dunnuck
A blend of 74% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Merlot, 2% Cabernet Franc and 1% Petit Verdot, aged 18 months in 70% new French oak, the 2018 Château Brane-Cantenac is another outstanding release from the estate. Deep, rich and textured, it offers layers of currants and cassis intertwined with violets, spring flowers, graphite and tobacco. Medium- to full-bodied, with a broad, layered palate, remarkable purity, ripe tannins and a blockbuster finish. It may even have additional upside with further aging.

A ripe vintage showing aromas of dark cherries, black plums and graphite. Medium- to full-bodied with generous mid-palate fruit, fine-grained tannins and a long, linear finish. Blend of 74% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Merlot, 2% Cabernet Franc and 1% Petit Verdot.
93 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The 2018 Brane-Cantenac is medium to deep garnet-purple in color, bursting with aromas of kirsch, black raspberries and warm cassis, alongside hints of roses, forest floor, cinnamon stick and cedar. The medium-bodied palate is elegant, fresh and beautifully balanced at just 13.5% alcohol, delivering vibrant red and black fruit flavors, silky tannins and a long, perfumed finish. An impressive wine.
