About the Château Bel Air Gloria 2016
A refined Haut-Médoc with aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, cedar, violet, and subtle spice. Silky tannins, fresh acidity, and balanced structure create a classic Left Bank Bordeaux with elegance, depth, and excellent aging potential.
Food Pairing: Pair with roast lamb, grilled ribeye, duck breast, beef tenderloin, aged Comté, Gruyère, or wild mushroom dishes.
93 Points - Wine Enthusiast
Smoky with flavors of the wood aging, this wine is also rich and concentrated with firm tannins. Situated just inland from Saint-Julien and made by the owners of Château Gloria, the vineyard has produced a full wine with a serious structure and dark black fruitiness. Drink this ageworthy wine from 2024. Roger Voss
88 Points - James Suckling
Aromas of green olives, fresh herbs and currants follow through to a medium body, with light tannins and a succulent, easy finish. Drink now.
