Expert tasting note: (2016 vintage) "The color is a medium intensity of darkly pigmented ruby-red. The aromas are of earthy dark fruit. The Palate has a fine structure, dark plum, damson & bullace fruit is overlaid with a distinct earthy note. The wine is medium to full bodied. Alcohol is slightly warming & the acidity is fresh. There is an excellent intensity of concentrated licorice fruit that lasts very well on a harmonious finish." - 07/23 DCAMW
