About the Château d'Angludet 1998 1.5L Magnum
An elegant Margaux showcasing aromas of blackcurrant, plum, violet, cedar, and subtle spice. Medium-bodied with silky tannins, fresh acidity, and refined structure, it offers exceptional balance and classic Left Bank character.
Food Pairing: Pair with roast lamb, grilled ribeye, duck breast, venison, aged Gruyère, Comté, or wild mushroom dishes.
86 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
Dark ruby-colored, with a peppery, cassis, plum, and subtle herb-scented bouquet, the 1998 d'Angludet is round, straightforward, and monolithic. Consume it over the next 8–9 years.
85 Points - Wine Spectator
Nice texture to this red, with aromas of cranberry and mint. Medium-bodied, with velvety tannins and a medium finish. Much better than I remember from barrel. Best after 2003.
