Charles Heidsieck Blanc des Millénaires 2007 is a prestige, ultra-refined Blanc de Blancs Champagne crafted exclusively from 100% Chardonnay sourced from five key Grand Cru villages across the Côte des Blancs (Cramant, Avize, Oger, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, and Vertus). Aged for over a decade in the house's historic 2,000-year-old chalk cellars (crayères), this vintage prestige cuvée presents a brilliant luminous golden hue with a fine, persistent effervescence. The bouquet opens with elegant, complex aromas of preserved citrus, lemon curd, toasted hazelnut, baked brioche, and white peach, underlined by flinty chalk minerality and light floral nuances. On the palate, it is silken, textured, and precise, delivering vibrant acidity balanced by deep, savory complexity, subtle salinity, and an extraordinarily long, chalky finish.

Born of a cool growing season, the 2007 Blanc de Blancs Blanc des Millénaires, disgorged in 2023, opens in the glass with aromas of white peach, lemon confit, blanched almonds and buttered pastry, mingled with notes of quince and subtle roasted nuances. Medium-bodied and pillowy, the palate is animated by racy acidity and structured around chalky extract, culminating in a long, saline finish. Somewhat leaner in profile, it does not appear to possess the concentration displayed by the cuvée’s finest renditions.
