Sourced from three distinct lieux-dits on the iconic Hermitage hill—Les Bessards, Le Méal, and Les Greffieux—it undergoes concrete vat fermentation and ages in oak barrels and small foudres. Commemorating 200 years of Braille with an embossed black label, it opens with aromas of raspberry, blackcurrant, licorice, and black pepper spice. On the palate, it is medium-to-full-bodied and velvety, delivering dense dark fruit flavors framed by firm tannins and a long, mineral-driven finish.

Food Pairing: Pairs wonderfully with roasted rack of lamb, venison fillet in red wine sauce, grilled bavette steak, braised short ribs, and mature cheeses.
