About the Chapel Hill 'The MV' Shiraz 750ml
Critic tasting note: (2023 vintage) "The MV – McLaren Vale – label offers an archetypal expression of grapes close to the Vale’s heart . . . like Shiraz. Warm and luxurious in aroma, it’s like walking the Coast to Vines Rail Trail into Willunga with the scent of the bush, bay leaf, acacia and undergrowth all around you in harmony with blackberry and black cherry fruits. It’s generous, like a Vale Shiraz should be, supple and yet well-structured thanks to a decidedly tannic presence and drive. It remains a wine of the land, approachable and, as always, big hearted. And it could easily take a few more years in the cellar if desired." - 91/100, Winepilot
