Château Lafon-Rochet 2023 is a complex, structured, and vibrant Left Bank red wine from the Saint-Estèphe appellation of Bordeaux. Sourced from deep gravel and clay soils, this blend—traditionally led by Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot with small portions of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot—undergoes meticulous fermentation and barrel maturation in French oak. In the glass, it presents an opaque purple-ruby core. The bouquet delivers expressive aromas of cassis, black cherry, graphite, tobacco leaf, crushed stone, and dark chocolate. On the palate, it is medium- to full-bodied, polished, and finely detailed, showing dark-berry fruit supported by firm, fine-grained tannins, fresh acidity, and a long, savory finish.

Food Pairing: Pairs wonderfully with roast prime rib, braised beef short ribs, rack of lamb, venison stew, duck breast, and aged hard cheeses.
