About the Chateau Citran 2010
A beautifully mature Haut-Médoc with aromas of cassis, blackberry, dried plum, cedar, tobacco, graphite, and earthy spice. Silky tannins, vibrant freshness, and refined complexity create an elegant Left Bank Bordeaux with a long, graceful finish.
Food Pairing: Pair with roast lamb, grilled ribeye, beef tenderloin, duck breast, aged Comté, Gruyère, or wild mushroom dishes.
90 Points - James Suckling
Aromas and flavors of orange peel, dried strawberries and subtle coffee notes define this expressive wine. Full-bodied with a chewy texture and well-integrated tannins, it finishes with elegance and balance. Already drinking beautifully, though it was recommended to enjoy from 2015 onward.
89 Points - Wine Enthusiast
Bright red fruit flavors lead the way in this elegant, approachable wine. Attractive tannins and a gentle, ripe character provide structure without excessive weight or power. Balanced and refined rather than overtly fruity, it benefits from 4–5 years of cellaring to reach its full potential.
