About the Cesare Bussolo 'Del Comune di La Morra' Barolo 2021
Cesare Bussolo 'Del Comune di La Morra' Barolo 2021 is a wonderfully elegant and fragrant expression of Nebbiolo, crafted by one of Piedmont's rising stars under the mentorship of Roberto Voerzio. Luminous and precise, the nose is redolent with bright, fresh aromas of Morello cherry, wild raspberry, and crushed rose petals, beautifully layered with nuances of dry, gravelly earth, sweet spices, and subtle licorice. On the palate, it exhibits a refined, almost Burgundy-like texture, delivering a vibrant core of primary fruit balanced by a crisp, lively acidity and fine, silky tannins, culminating in a long, savory, and mineral-driven finish.
Food Pairing: Pairs wonderfully with classic Piedmontese dishes like truffle-shaved tajarin pasta, slow-braised veal osso buco, roasted lamb, and aged cheeses like Toma.
