About the Ceretto Barolo Brunate 2019
This exceptional single-vineyard vintage Barolo opens with an incredibly complex and highly expressive bouquet of ripe black cherries, dark plums, and fresh lavender, beautifully layered with nuances of sweet licorice, balsamic herbs, and dark tobacco leaf. On the full-bodied palate, it showcases monumental structure and focus, pairing a dense, muscular core of dark fruit with a vibrant line of acidity and tight, exceptionally refined noble tannins. The finish is remarkably long, savory, and expansive.
Food Pairing: A perfect choice for slow-braised beef shanks, roasted wild boar ragù, pan-seared venison chops, and highly aged cheeses like Castelmagno.
