Based in Castellina in Chianti, the heart of Chianti Classico region, Cecchi has fashioned a lovely, mid-weight wine that combines savory elements — earthy notes — with cherry-scented flavors. Suave tannins provide structure and allow for current enjoyment. This a balanced Chianti Classico, filled with energy and a welcome, subtly bitter finish. It is clearly not an overdone fruit bomb.
