Cava de Oro Extra Aged Anejo Black Tequila

Cava de Oro Extra Añejo Black is an ultra-aged tequila crafted in El Arenal, Jalisco by Tequilera Puerta de Hierro (NOM 1477) using 100% estate-grown Blue Weber agave. Aged for five years in deeply charred French oak barrels—giving the expression its signature dark "Black" profile—it yields an exceptionally rich, dessert-like tequila defined by intense sweetness, deep wood influence, and soft agave presence.

Food Pairing: Rich chocolate tortes, caramel flan, grilled steaks with demi-glace, aged gouda, or enjoyed as an after-dinner digestif alongside a fine cigar.

Tasting Notes : Dark mahogany with reddish-amber highlights. Extremely rich, velvety, and mouth-coating with a dense, viscous texture.

Nose : Dominant notes of dark chocolate, heavy caramel, toasted oak, and vanilla, accompanied by dried plums, roasted nuts, and a subtle background of cooked agave.

Palate : Very sweet and full-bodied, featuring prominent flavors of maple syrup, butterscotch, dark cocoa, cinnamon, roasted coffee, and charred oak.
