About the Catena La Marchigiana Criolla Chica
A revitalizing and translucent natural red, La Marchigiana Criolla Chica is a tribute to one of the oldest grape varieties in the Americas, crafted using ancestral "tinaja" (clay amphora) methods without added sulfites. This wine presents a pale, bright ruby color reminiscent of a heavy rosé or a light Pinot Noir. The nose is highly aromatic and fresh, offering notes of wild strawberries, raspberries, and orange peel, underscored by earthy and herbal undertones. On the palate, it is light-bodied and exceptionally crisp, showcasing crunchy red fruit flavors, vibrant acidity, and very soft, approachable tannins. Its lean and energetic profile makes it an ideal choice for light chilling and pairing with charcuterie or fresh Mediterranean dishes.
