About the Catena Appellation Lunlunta Malbec
Sourced from a historic district along the northern banks of the Mendoza River, the Catena Appellation Lunlunta Malbec is defined by its old-vine heritage and unique clay soils. This wine presents a deep, saturated violet color and opens with an expressive bouquet of ripe red berries, black cherries, and sweet plums, elegantly layered with notes of lavender, violets, and a hint of vanilla. On the palate, it is remarkably smooth and velvety, showcasing a plush texture with round, sweet tannins and balanced acidity. Deep flavors of dark fruit and subtle hints of milk chocolate lead to a long, graceful finish. Its refined structure and floral aromatics make it a quintessential representation of this traditional Luján de Cuyo sub-region.
