Castiglion del Bosco Prima Pietra 2020 is an elegant and powerful Super Tuscan crafted from the highest coastal vineyards in Riparbella, Tuscany, situated at an elevation of 450 meters. This organically farmed, Bordeaux-inspired blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot is meticulously vinified and aged for 18 months in French oak barriques. In the glass, it pours a deep ruby-red color with vibrant purple reflections. The bouquet is broad and complex, offering intense aromas of dark cherries, ripe plums, and cassis, beautifully woven with notes of dark chocolate, cedar, and subtle Mediterranean herbs. On the palate, the wine is muscular yet exceptionally harmonious, delivering a concentrated core of dark berry fruit framed by lively acidity and dense, velvety tannins that culminate in a long, incredibly refined finish.
