Castelvecchi Capotondo Chianti Classico 2022

This Chianti Classico is a blend of 88% Sangiovese and 12% Canaiolo grapes, grown in the heart of the Chianti Classico region. The wine is aged for 14 months in a combination of large barrels and barriques, resulting in a well-balanced wine with a smooth, complex flavour profile. Deep ruby red with violet reflections. Fresh and inviting, with aromas of red fruits like cherry and plum, complemented by delicate floral notes of rose and violet. Hints of spice add complexity. Harmonious and well-balanced, with a velvety texture and a lingering finish. Flavours of ripe red fruit are supported by subtle spice and oak notes.
