It displays a deep ruby-red colour tending toward garnet, with a complex nose featuring notes of black cherry, wild raspberry, and pomegranate, layered with Tuscan herbs, flint, and a hint of dark chocolate. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and powerful yet remarkably graceful, showing a firm tannic spine and linear acidity that provide exceptional structure and aging potential. It undergoes roughly 18 months of aging in a combination of large oak casks, second-passage tonneaux, and select French oak barrels, resulting in a long, energetic finish with persistent notes of graphite, spice, and savory mineral nuances.
