Frescobaldi CastelGiocondo Ripe al Convento Brunello di Montalcino Riserva 2018 presents a brilliant ruby-red color with garnet reflections. The expressive nose unfolds with a rich kaleidoscope of aromas, blending ripe wild berries, cherry, and pomegranate with complex tertiary notes of graphite, bitter cocoa, and Cuban cigar. On the palate, this full-bodied Riserva shows incredible power balanced by a dense, velvety tannic texture and lively acidity, leading into an extraordinarily long, elegant, and mineral-driven finish.
Food Pairing: Pairs beautifully with rosemary-roasted lamb shanks, grilled T-bone steaks, wild boar ragù, or mature hard cheeses like aged Pecorino Toscano.
